GENSABELLA Marianna

Marianna GENSABELLA FURNARI, former full professor of moral philosophy at the University of Messina, where she held the positions of Rector's Delegate for Teaching (2007/2013) and Director of the Department of Ancient and Modern Civilizations (2013/2014). She was a member of the National Committee for Bioethics from 2007 to 2022 and President of the University Bioethics Study Center from 2019 to 2022. She is currently a member of the Local Ethics Committee of the IRCSS “Bonino-Pulejo” of Messina and President of the Sicily Section of Italian Institute of Bioethics. Marianna GENSABELLA FURNARI già professore ordinario di Filosofia morale presso l’Università di Messina, dove ha ricoperto gli incarichi di Delegata del Rettore per la Didattica (2007/2013) e di Direttore del Dipartimento di Civiltà antiche e moderne (2013/2014). È stata componente del Comitato Nazionale per la Bioetica dal 2007 al 2022 e Presidente del Centro studi universitario di bioetica dal 2019 al 2022. È attualmente componente del Comitato Etico Locale dell’IRCSS “Bonino- Pulejo” di Messina e Presidente della Sezione Sicilia dell’Istituto Italiano di Bioetica.
